UAES SUCCESSFULLY HOSTS NUC ACCREDITATION TEAMS , SET TO SECURE FULL ACCREDITATION FOR ENGINEERING AND AGRICULTURE

The university of Agriculture and Environmental has over the past two weeks entertained various visiting teams of the National University Council on Accreditation assignment.  

The accreditation exercise which will mark the second of its series and a completion of the earlier exercise which saw the university gain accreditation for every course presented commenced on 21st November with the arrival of the accreditation team for the Faculty of Agriculture. The team carried out its tour of the institutions facilities expressing amazement at the progress of the institution in agriculture in such a short time of existence whilst hailing its capacity for more.  

Other teams followed in succession , scrutinizing each department facing the accreditation exercise to make sure the institution meet up with the standards. The Ag. Vice Chancellor of  UAES Prof. Christopher Chiedozie Eze has expressed optimism that the exercise would yield positive results just like it did during its first outing. He took advantage of every opportunity to hail the intentionality and impact of  His Excellency Sen. Hope Odidika Uzodinma , the executive governor of Imo State and Visitor to the institution for showing great support to the institution in its pursuit of excellence. 

Whilst the University community awaits the outcome of the exercise , the Ag. Vice Chancellor has urged staff to remain steadfast in their duties , he insists that the fact we are confident should not allow the staff room for any laxity as his administration would tolerate no such attitude. He says, the standards maintained in the university is not only for the accreditation period but a culture of excellence which must be upheld to make sure every graduate of the institution gains the required knowledge and expertise to navigate the outside world.
