Advertisement for 2024/2025 Academic Session Post-UTME/Direct Entry Screening

The general public is hereby informed that The University of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences (UAES), Umuagwo shall commence her 2024/2025 Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (P-UTME) / Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise on the 10th of September 2024.

A. Eligibility Criteria

Eligible candidates must have:

• Sat for the 2024 Joint Admissions Matriculations Board (JAMB) Examination and scored a minimum of 140 marks
• Made UAES their first choice Institution or visited a JAMB CBT center to do a change of institution from their previous choice of institution to UAES
• Uploaded their relevant O-level results on their individual JAMB online portals and linked same to their National Identification number (NIN). Candidates awaiting the release of their O-level results, must upload same immediately it is released on their respective JAMB online portals to be admissible. Tenable O-level results must consist of credit passes in at least 5 subjects including Mathematics and English Language in not more than two sittings.
• DE applicants must be holders of A-Levels/IJMB/OND/HND/BSc or its equivalents in the appropriate/available degree programs.

C. Mode of Screening

Admission screening for the 2024/2025 academic session shall be based on internal screening of eligible candidates. There shall be no P-UTME tests either in the form of handwritten or Computer Based Tests (CBT). Documents required for the Screening are:

• 2 passport photographs (White background)
• Birth Certificate (National Population Commission Certificates only)
• Attestation of Age (By parent/Guardian)
• Certificate of State or Local Government of Origin
• O-level results/Certificates – WAEC/NECO/NABTEB/CAMBRIDGE etc. (at not more than 2 sittings and must not be handwritten).
• IJMB/A-Level/OND/HND/BSc transcripts, certificates or results where applicable
• 2024 JAMB Result (with the appropriate JAMB subject combinations)
• Evidence of Change of Institution (Where applicable)
• Remita online payment evidence of N2,000.00 (two thousand naira only) for UAES P-UTME form.
• Letter of Sponsorship (By parent/Guardian)
• One white office file
